NH Selects Academy is a summer skills development program for players 8U through 16U+. Training runs from mid-April through mid-August at The Ice Den in Hooksett, NH — giving players a full summer of structured, high-intensity development before the new season.

Every session is built around Power Edge Pro's Reactive Countering Training (R.C.T.) methodology, emphasizing skating, puck skills, passing, shooting, hockey IQ, and confidence through progressive drills and small-area games in a competitive environment.

Whether you're preparing for tryouts, sharpening your game for the next level, or getting your first taste of structured off-season training — this is where the work gets done.

16-Week Foundation Program

Our 8U Development Program is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of hockey in a fun and engaging environment. Each week, participants focus on core skills — skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting — while learning the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship in one-hour on-ice sessions.

The program is structured with progressive drills and small-area games to ensure skill development and confidence-building. With an emphasis on fostering a love for the game, this program provides a solid foundation for young athletes to grow as players and teammates.
