Reactive Countering Training™ focuses on the often-overlooked but crucial ability to “Fire Multiple Motor Skills Simultaneously”—a key element for mastering the high-speed, inside-game skills essential in today’s hockey.
Our 16-week 8U Development Program is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of hockey in a fun and engaging environment. Each week, participants will focus on core skills such as skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting, while also learning the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship in one hour on ice sessions. The program is structured with progressive drills and small-area games to ensure skill development and confidence-building. With an emphasis on fostering a love for the game, this program provides a solid foundation for young athletes to grow as players and teammates.

NH Selects Academy is a skills-first development program for players 8U through 18U Juniors/College.
training opportunities as offered are built around Power Edge Pro’s Reactive Countering Training™ (R.C.T.) to help athletes build today’s “inside-game” skills at game speed.
Sessions emphasize skating, puck skills, passing, shooting, hockey IQ, and confidence through progressive drills and small-area games in a fun, competitive environment.
The Academy is based at The Ice Den (Hooksett, NH) Training will start Mid May and End Mid August 2026. Exact session dates/details will be posted in the registration listing as they’re released.
