The Highest Level of NH Selects Hockey

National Bound is our elite competitive track — built for players who are ready to compete at the highest level and pursue national tournament qualification. Everything included in our Non-National Bound program applies here, plus additional commitments, travel, and competitive expectations.

National Bound players receive the same professional coaching, PEP-based development, goalie training, strength & conditioning, video analysis, and preseason camp as all NH Selects teams. What separates this program is the schedule intensity, the caliber of competition, and the path to nationals.

This program demands the highest level of commitment from players and families. If you're looking for the most competitive experience NH Selects offers, this is it.

Full Season & Split Season

Two ways to compete at the National Bound level.

Full Season
Sep – Mar

The complete National Bound experience. Full access to all practices, games, and national qualifying tournaments from September through March. Maximum development, maximum competition, maximum commitment.

Recommended for players pursuing the highest level of competition and national tournament play.

Split Season
Sep – Late Nov

A half-season commitment running September through late November at the National Bound level. Split season players receive the same elite coaching and competitive schedule during their active portion.

Available for multi-sport athletes or families managing multiple commitments who still want elite-level play.

National Bound vs. Non-National Bound

Both programs share the same development model and coaching staff. Here's what's different at the National Bound level.

What Sets Us Apart

Six pillars drive every aspect of our program. National Bound players receive the full NH Selects development system.

01
PEP-Based Development
Professional instruction through the Power Edge Pro training system at every level. R.C.T. replicates the unpredictable nature of game situations, building agility, quick decision-making, and advanced puck handling.
02
Goalie Development
Dedicated goaltending training with Puckstoppers — semi-private sessions during the regular season for 10U and above. Position-specific coaching that gives goalies the focused attention they need to develop.
03
Hockey IQ & Video
Regular video sessions build game awareness and tactical understanding. Coaches break down game footage so players can see their strengths and areas for growth — developing a deeper understanding of the game.
04
Strength & Conditioning
3-day in-season S&C program for 10U and above — one gym session per week at Platinum Athletes (Concord, NH) plus two asynchronous sessions. Building the athletic foundation that supports everything on the ice.
4
Day Camp
On-Ice + Off-Ice
05
4-Day Preseason Camp
Intensive on-ice and off-ice training camp in late August for 8U Major through 18U. One hour on-ice plus one hour off-ice each day — setting the tone for the season before it starts.

Accountability, respect, and a commitment to developing character alongside skill. We believe success demands hard work, patience, sacrifice, consistency, and discipline — on the ice and in life.

Program FAQ
What's the difference between National Bound and Non-National Bound?
Both programs share the same development model — PEP training, professional coaching, goalie development, S&C, video analysis, and preseason camp. National Bound adds national tournament qualification, expanded travel, and a higher level of competition. See the comparison table above for a full breakdown.
When are National Bound tryouts?
National Bound tryouts will be announced in April 2026. Non-National Bound tryouts take place in March. Players can tryout for both programs.
Can I tryout for both National Bound and Non-National Bound?
Yes. Many players register for Non-National Bound tryouts in March and then also tryout for National Bound in April. If selected for a National Bound team, that placement takes priority.
What's the difference between Full and Split Season?
Full season runs September through March with complete access to all practices, games, and national qualifying tournaments. Split season runs September through late November — same elite coaching and development on a shorter commitment.
What additional travel is involved?
National Bound teams travel to national qualifying tournaments beyond the regional schedule. Specific tournament locations and travel requirements will be communicated during the team selection process.
Is financial assistance available?
Yes. Visit our Player Financial Assistance page for details.
