Leadership Announcement:
A New Chapter for NH Selects
Organizational changes position NH Selects for long-term growth as we prepare for the 2026–27 season and beyond.
NH Selects Hockey is excited to announce leadership changes that reflect the growth and direction of our organization heading into the 2026–27 season.
Grant Sikich — Director of Hockey Operations & Player Development
Grant Sikich has been promoted to Director of Hockey Operations and Player Development. This expanded role gives Grant full ownership of all hockey operations — on-ice programming, player development, coaching staff oversight, and the strategic direction of every team from 8U through 18U.
Grant has been the driving force behind player development at NH Selects since day one. His promotion formalizes what he's been building on the ice every single day — a development-first culture powered by the Power Edge Pro system, professional coaching standards, and an unwavering commitment to making every player better. This is his program to lead, and we couldn't be more confident in where he's taking it.
John Sikich — President
John Sikich is transitioning to the role of President, serving in an advisory and consultant capacity to Grant as the organization works toward establishing its non-profit structure. John founded NH Selects in 2023 and built it from the ground up — Several State Championships, a USA Hockey Nationals Appearance, several players to Prep Schools in New England, and a culture that families across New Hampshire trust. That foundation isn't going anywhere.
In his new role, John will continue to serve as Referee in Chief for game scheduling and officiating coordination, and will remain on the ice as 10U Head Coach. His focus shifts to the organizational side — guiding the non-profit formation, supporting Grant's leadership, and ensuring NH Selects continues to grow the right way.
What This Means for Families
Nothing changes about the quality of coaching, the development model, or the culture your players experience every day. What changes is that the person who's been doing the work now has the title and authority to match — and the organization is positioning itself for long-term stability and growth through its non-profit formation.
Grant is your point of contact for all hockey operations. John remains involved and invested — just in a different seat.
We're proud of what we've built together, and we're even more excited about what's ahead.
