Our Mission

Established in 2023, the NH Selects mission is to provide a comprehensive and enriching experience that extends beyond the game of hockey. We believe in fostering the character development of each player and creating a supportive environment where parents and players alike can thrive.

Development-First Hockey

NH Selects is built on a simple principle: elite development requires elite training methods. We don't just play games — we build complete hockey players through proven, research-backed development systems.

What truly sets us apart is our dedication to professional, non-parent coaching. USA Hockey certified coaches who bring objectivity, expertise, and a focus on long-term development rather than short-term glory.

As a Power Edge Pro Center of Excellence, we deliver training methods that provide 5× more skill repetitions than traditional practices — and video analysis that increases skill retention by 40%.

Program Notes

Program Flexibility & Changes

Programming elements described in this guide reflect general offerings and may vary based on age level, staffing, facility availability, league participation, and operational needs. Coaching assignments, instructors, and practice locations are determined by NH Selects and may change during the season. No specific coach or facility is guaranteed.

⚠ Baseline Concussion Testing — Mandatory

All NH Selects players must complete baseline concussion testing prior to the season start. Players will not be cleared to participate in Training Camp or any team activities without it on file. NH Selects will share contact information for our recommended testing provider. Families schedule and pay directly with the provider.

What's Not Included — But Required

Uniforms & Gear — NH Selects home and away game jerseys and socks, track suit, gloves, pant or shell, equipment bag, and black helmet.

Tournament Fees & Testing — State, Regional, and National tournament entry fees. Baseline concussion testing (required before season start).

NH Selects may, from time to time, offer Team Store discounts or promotions. Any such discount/promotion is discretionary and not included in the Program Fee unless expressly stated in the Player's Offer.

What It Takes

At NH Selects, development is the destination — but getting there requires commitment from every player and family.

  • 1
    Hard Work
Don't believe in luck — believe in hard work. Talent opens the door, but effort is what walks through it every single day.
  • 2
    Patience
Development is not a straight line. If you lose patience, you lose the battle. Trust the process and the results will follow.
  • 3
    Sacrifice
If you don't sacrifice for what you want, then what you want becomes the sacrifice. Growth requires giving something up to gain something greater.
  • 4
    Consistency
Consistency is what transforms average into excellence. Show up, put in the work, and do it again tomorrow.
  • 5
    Discipline
Motivation gets you going, but discipline keeps you growing. The players who reach the next level are the ones who do the work when no one is watching.
  • 6
    Self-Confidence
Confidence isn't "they will like me." Confidence is "I'll be fine if they don't." Believe in your preparation and trust your abilities.
  • 7
    Positive Attitude
A positive attitude won't solve all your problems, but it will carry you through more of them than you'd expect. Focus on your goals, not your obstacles.
  • 8
    Focus
Keep your eyes on the target. Distractions will always be there — your ability to stay locked in on what matters is what separates good from great.
At NH Selects, we believe developing complete hockey players requires more than ice time. Our comprehensive approach combines cutting-edge training, professional coaching, specialized instruction, and a supportive community environment.

From your first tryout to the final game of the season, you'll experience a program built on excellence, safety, character development, and community.

We look forward to welcoming you to the NH Selects family.
